| January 16, 2010 American Legion Hall, Shiner Chinese New Year's Party with a Taste of Texas meal. This year's gala will begin with a Chinese New Year's Party to honor of the Dominican Sisters and Fr. Tommy Chen during the cocktail hour. An elegant dinner will follow featuring: Grilled Rib-eye Steaks Garlic Roasted Potatoes and Carrots Mandarin Cheesecake ( The Original Gala Cookers are back this year and menu may be adjusted until approved by the tasting committee.)
